Many times we begin a side project full of vigor and seriousness. But as we push on and get deep within the project, one thing or another happens and we kind of slide to the side of it, because we find other interest we get involved in. Sometimes it has to do with focus and other times it has to do with desire, but the most important factor is finishing. Once you start something of desire and value you should finish it, no matter the distraction.

By developing this concept you ensure yourself of always creating a progressive way of thinking and completion of each venue. Start to finish is the only way to go, because it always puts you ahead in what you’re doing.

As you go through life, you come upon many different types of challenges. Some so minute in nature they may not even pull on your attention, but then again you might be dealt something humongous in nature, and the thing that they all have in common, is meant to confuse, discourage and misguide you in a way where you can’t recover. But there is a method to be used in such situations and it’s called focusing on the positive, because it is surely obvious that the other side is negativity. It is so important to stay focused in your daily life as well as the future and the past, because from the past you can learn, in the future you can plan and existing in the present, you shall live. Stay focused to positively give yourself, so you can love yourself.

 Everyday I wake up hearing different versions of what people say through the value of their thoughts. But just as we may say, we should give the same value to listening.

We all have our design on how things should go, but if we don’t listen to the response to what we have said, it becomes hard to hear-when you don’t listen. Everything we say with meaning has a response, but if you don’t listen to the response, you won’t hear what you need to know. Sometimes what you hear may not be what you want, but if you are not listening, you won’t be able to make a judgment on what it does mean to you. Some of the biggest misunderstandings are do to people not understanding what is being said.

So if you listen, you won’t find it hard to hear.

It is many times assumed that what your mind and heart desires, is also the thing you feel you must possess or control. But truly is it, because sometimes it can only be a desire and not the reality of what you truly need and want. Like a young person wanting an expensive pair of tennis shoes, that he or she mostly bases their need in having it, on desire and not neccessarily by what they really need. Even though he or she, may feel they can make themselves more than whom they are, or allow themselves to look greater than if they didn’t have them.

The fact is, if what you need to make you better comes from material things, then what you truly need, is a way to grow your inner self. Like in composing your music, or doing your best in school, or practicing a sport you love, or simply getting to know someone. So the point I’m getting at is, there is nothing greater or better than what lies already inside of you, so don’t falsely search for the substitute, turn to your inner self and receive it from the real.

Since that enlightened day of discovery, when I first experienced the majestic warmth of hearing and feeling the expression of song, till the day when I composed a song myself, the sound, vibration and magic of music have controlled my life.

In the beginning it was the excitement of a newly found wonderment and as I began to truly understand the meaning music conveys, it has underlined everything I do, think and feel. It’s a language that speaks to me on all levels of my life. It allows me comfort and strength when I’m sad. It gives me an abundance of energy when I’m tired. Music also fills me with inner joy while creating it and listening to it. It motivates me to express love on all levels.

Keeps me healthy too! It’s a great way to help me burn through my exercise regime. In other words, music has been in my life, music has made life full of meaning, matter of fact music is my life, and therefore it impacts my existence in every way every day. I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know though, so you tell me, how does music impact your life?

Knowing yourself is not just a function that guides us on our way, by thinking and acting within our own perception of ourself.
